Selection of Least Error Wavelet Function for Typical Fault Diagnosis in HVDC Transmission System

چکیده :
In this paper, different types of fault detection in High-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission system using various mother wavelet function will proposed. The goal is to obtain a suitable wavelet to detect fault in HVDC transmission system. Customary faults in AC form are short circuit ones and in DC line position are short circuit of pole to earth in DC line. Common faults in converter including commutation, MF (Misfire) and FT (Fire through) faults. There are some methods for fault detection such as intelligent ones (neural network and fuzzy system) and also SVM (support vector machine) .In this project, some of the named faults will be detected by using different wavelet functions in wavelet transformation in order to identify the best wavelet for fault detection.
