Data-Driven Controller Design for a Synchronous Generator Connected to an Infinite Bus

چکیده :
The problem of stabilizing a synchronous generator connected to an infinite bus system is studied in this paper. For doing so, the Heffron-Phillips model of the mentioned system is used to design a feedback controller based on a data-driven approach. Due to the data-driven nature of the approach, it should be applied on the discretized model. The asymptotic stability is guaranteed by solving some Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). It can be noted that the data is used to design the controller right away regardless of the system identification step. This strategy can significantly increase the closed-loop system speed. By simulating the results of the controller on the system, it can be concluded that the data-driven controller design approach is a very efficient way to control such systems. Then, a white noise is also added to measurement signal and results are analyzed, additionally.
