H∞ Robust Control Design for Three-Element Industrial Boiler Supervisory System

چکیده :
In power plants, to achieve safe performance, fundamental variables, such as drum pressure, the water level in the drum, and temperature, must be under control. In this study, in the first step, a three-element linear time-invariant (LTI) industrial boiler with three inputs and outputs is introduced. However, this model may be associated with uncertainties. In this regard, the robust control approach is performed to examine the stability and performance of the boiler system. In the presence of parametric uncertainties, an H∞ state feedback controller via linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) techniques in comparison to the D-K iteration method is designed. Based on numerical simulations, both controllers guarantee robust control, and the performance of the proposed robust methods is compared graphically.
