Estimation of time-varying and state-dependent fault using adaptive observer for a class of discrete- time systems

چکیده :
In this article, the estimation of the actuator fault have been investigated. The discussed system is a class of uncertain discrete-time systems. Under the given assumptions, the uncertain system is separated into two subsystems. The state estimation for the subsystem unaffected by the actuator fault is performed using the adaptive observer. The states of the other subsystems affected by the fault are measurable. By using the estimated states obtained from the adaptive observer, the actuator fault can be estimated. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and the efficiency of the observer in estimating the time-varying and state-dependent faults.
